I am currently SENDCO at The Wellington Academy. I have strong link with the military having been a military child, and then marrying a serving airman, and having two children that have travelled around with us as a family: until my husband retired. As a family we have had many postings including overseas.

I trained as a Podiatrist and then re trained as a teacher, with the primary aspiration to support  families and young people as a SENDCO.

I have worked in specialist schools for autistic young people and social emotional and metal health, and hold an undergraduate degree in cognitive behavioural therapeutic approaches and an MSc in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing: these guide me in supporting our young people to reach their potential
