Due to the return of service families from Germany, our current Wellington Primary Academy and our brand new Wellington Eagles Primary are looking to recruit teachers for all key stages for September 2019.
The Wellington Primary Academy opened on a purpose-built site in September 2014. The school has grown ever since with numbers due to increase further this September. The school is situated on the outskirts of Tidworth and will eventually become a two form primary.
The new Wellington Eagles Primary Academy is currently under construction and due to open to pupils this September. The new school is a two-storey, two form entry school and located in Ludgershall, opposite our secondary school, The Wellington Academy.
Both schools offer exciting curriculums; modern buildings and beautiful grounds.

The Nest at Eagles is part of the Wellington Eagles Primary Academy and offers school day care facilities to children aged 2-5 years from Ludgershall and the surrounding area. We cater for up to 28 children per session and accept government funded sessions. Our opening times are from 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday- Friday. We are open for 38 weeks a year (term time only), closing throughout the school holidays.
Through enhanced learning we aim to inspire our children to develop their sense of self-worth and individuality. We understand that parents are their child's first teachers, and we work in partnership to prepare them for their journey through education.
We are looking for a new member of the team to start with us in January 2021 as a Apprentice Key Worker. Some previous childcare experience and a level 2 in Childcare or Health and Social Care would be beneficial.
We expect our new apprentice to:
Complete their level 3 training over the course of the apprenticeship.
Contribute in providing a high standard of learning and care in physical, personal, social, emotional and language for children at the Nursery.
Give support to other staff in the Nursery.
Implement the daily routine with the children.
Work together as a team supporting each other for the benefit of the children.
Help maintain the health and safety of the children within the setting.
We are open Monday - Friday during term time plus three weeks supporting Holiday Club at our other Nursery. The role will be 37.5 hours a week.
Your Working hours will be 08:15-15:45 this includes 30 minutes unpaid lunch therefore paid hours per week will be 35.
